The latest “Great Place to Work” ranking has just been published and Alsace has won two outstanding placements! Mars France and Adidas Group France, both based in Alsace, were among the best places to work.
Already well-known and often used as a good example, the Mars Group, which includes many subsidiaries (Royal Canin, Wrigley, Petcare & Food) has climbed to the top of the European rankings in the Multinational category.
Mars France has kept its second place in the French rankings (500 to 5,000 employees category). This achievement has brought to the limelight a jewel of the Alsatian economy who has supported the Alsace brand since day one, and employs nearly 2,000 people in Ernolsheim-sur-Bruche, Haguenau and Biesheim.
The sporting goods and sportswear brand has earned a place in the Top 10. Coming in at 8th place, the company, which is soon to join Strasbourg’s new business district, Archipel, was praised for its company dynamic.
Adidas, already known for its eco-solidarity and sustainability initiatives, has proved itself to be a good example to follow, says Herbert Hainer, President of the Board of Directors: “We are thrilled by the recognition our efforts in sustainability have received. […] Through our work, Adidas continues to push back the boundaries and lead the way to a sustainable future, both for our company and for all of the industrial sector.”
