More and more wood cladding at newly built houses
Wood is used more and more as facade cladding; as for example at the innovation park in Illkirch-Graffenstaden
Cofely, a company specialized in plant construction and facility management, erected a new building in Illkirch-Graffenstaden. It will be claded by larch wood on about 1,000 m2. Frequently, wood cladding is used on residential buildings; but it also becomes more and more popular on office buildings.
A family business from the Alsatian village of Dauendorf has been chosen to be in charge of the whole project, from the conceptual design to the assembling of the wood.
